	*There's more to choosing a recording studio than just finding the lowest hourly rate.* When checking out studios, be sure to check out the engineer as well as the equipment. Make sure you're comfortable with the personnel as well as the environment. Listen to their work. Get references. Don't get fooled by cheap rates (If you go to a $25/hour studio but it takes them twice as long to do something, did you really save anything by not paying $50 in the first place?) Don't forget: Anyone can go to Sears and buy the big Craftsman tool set in the roll-around tool box, but that doesn't make him an auto mechanic!
